Mods are aware that "Mary Poppins (Movies)" is the canonical tag, but are considering splitting this into "Mary Poppins (1964)" and "Mary Poppins Returns (2018)" in light of the former being a standalone film with a very recent sequel, in order to avoid potential bad matches between people who only know/are interested in the original film and people who are only interested in the developments of the sequel. (Think Star Wars OT's Princess Leia vs. Star Wars ST's General Organa.) Could the nominator please clarify whether or not Mary Poppins Returns contains any canon about Bert that a person requesting or offering the Bert tags might be interested in, and whether, if the fandoms were to be split, they would prefer to nominate "F!Michael Banks & Jane Banks" under both fandoms or only under Mary Poppins Returns?

There’s only a very brief mention of Bert traveling the world in Mary Poppins Returns—not much new canon at all. Also, I’d love to see the Michael and Jane nomination in the categories for both movies. Thank you!
