- You wish to provide evidence that a swap you have nominated or plan to nominate is not an equally prominent or more prominent canon character, per Eligibility§1.
- You wish to specify that a character is trans because you have nominated or plan to nominate them "swapped to" their canonical gender, per Eligibility§2. (This is not required, but if you are concerned that the mod would not know that the character is trans from a quick search, it may be helpful.)
- You feel that it may be necessary to justify the eligibility of your nomination for any other reason.
- You spot an issue in the tagset, such as a typo, an umbrella fandom and a specific fandom both being used, a tag wandering into the wrong fandom, or a crossover located in a fandom other than Crossover Fandom.
- Any other issue has appeared

Date: 2022-05-17 09:48 pm (UTC)Basically, in 1.0 and 2.0, she was referred to exclusively as a man - then in the Coils of Bahamut we get these following screencaps:
Establishing a canonical rule 63 to F. Later on, the lorebook was written and contained the following biography, which established Nael (Eula) as a female character retroactively...
...but kept the cutscenes in Coils of Bahamut referring to her bodily transformation after the Calamity untouched. The end result is, the fandom for the most part agrees that she's trans, but no one agrees on MTF or FTM, or if she was rule 63'd having identified as a cis man. TL;DR I'd argue that either R63 (M!Nael or F!Nael) is canonically viable, as, TBH, are DNW cis for either of those - my personal argument is that combining the lorebook entry (that she was a girl the whole time) with the dialogue in Coils (she was presumed male and her typically "feminine" body we see now is not her own) suggests she's MTF and R63'd to her self-image after the Calamity and nominated the tag with that in mind, in any case, but you might see other perspectives depending on who nominates.
