F!Robinton/Menolly
Medium: Fanart, Medium: Fanfiction
General Audiences
Always a 63

This is such a nostalgia fandom for me, and on revisiting it recently I realized I ship this. A lot. That said, I don't need a fanwork for these two to be romance-driven if you want it to focus on plot, character development, or music, but I would love it to feature the affection and respect they have for each other.

In either art or fic, I'd love to see something that reflects their shared joy in music, particularly in ensembles. (That scene where Menolly first plays Domick's quartet is one of my favorites in the whole series for just that reason.) I'd also appreciate seeing Menolly grown into confidence as a musician and person. If in fic there's insecurity about their relationship specifically, I'd rather it be on Robinton's side due to age/other factors, not on Menolly's due to her thinking she's not enough for Robinton.

I'd also particularly like to see more women in music. Menolly training a new apprentice or journeyman, or discovering a talented amateur who wasn't given the same opportunity?

I adore worldbuilding in general, and particularly through art. I'd be fascinated to see more about the Cratfthall, depictions of instruments and musical ensembles, and of course firelizards!

Re: the genderswap specifically, maybe Robinton as the first female harper through sheer talent or force of will, or having grown into a very low alto voice and crossdressing to join the profession? I love that trope.

I didn't request Explicit because I'm not interested in PWP, but it's fine to include sexual content.

General likes, etc. in the letter.

I do not want: detailed depictions of rape or sexual violence; PWP; infidelity (open relationships are fine); AUs except for canon divergence and always-a-woman genderswap; references to suicide or suicidal ideation

F!The Magus & Sophos, F!The Magus & None, F!The Magus & Eddis
Medium: Fanart, Medium: Fanfiction
General Audiences
Always a 63

The magus has always been one of my favorite characters. The juxtaposition of the soldier and the scholar/mentor, the deep love of country combined with a real respect and affection for Eddis (the person more than the country, which is not nearly warm enough!), the genuine desire to serve a good ruler combined with the ruthless pragmatism of someone who absolutely refuses to see their country invaded once again.

I'd love adventures and travel; myths; politicking; nerding out over in-world history, botany, etc; or a glimpse into the magus' mysterious history.

Ship-wise I'm pretty happy with gen fic or any ships you want to incorporate, canon or otherwise, either f/m or f/f.

I adore worldbuilding in general, and particularly through art. Clothing, architecture, any way you could show contrast between the different cultures and subcultures in these books, it'd all be wonderful.

Re: the genderswap specifically, I'd be equally interested in seeing a magus who's reached her position despite her gender or by crossdressing to be taken seriously as a scholar and soldier. Or maybe she never managed those things, but achieved influence in the Sounisian court in some other way?

I really like Nightingale as-is, but f!Nightingale would shoot up to the top tier of my all-time favorite characters. Did she start as a hedge witch and gain respectability somehow over the course of time, or did she argue her way into lessons with a wink and a nod from her uncle?

Reluctant allies is one of my favorite dynamics, as is reluctantly admiring antagonists. I loved how totally into it Varvara was when Nightingale took her down in Broken Homes, and I imagine he enjoyed the opportunity for a good fight on some level, too. As for Ty, I adore the tension between Nightingale's Folly (before and after the changes Peter works to implement), Ty's vision of London and the rivers' place in it, and the old magic of the rivers that runs even deeper than Ty's ambitions.

I'd love historical fic, future fic dealing with the changes happening in the magical world, anything with Nightingale (and Varvara or Ty) dealing with their individual brands of near-immortality, and magic.

Ship-wise I'm pretty happy with gen fic or any f/f ship you'd be interested in, including with OCs. Feel free to genderswap another male character if you have another f/f pairing in mind.

I adore worldbuilding in general, particularly through art. Historical clothing, new settings, spectactular explosive magic or the finnicky complicated stuff, depictions of WWII or the rivers at an period, all of it would be great. I think an extremely short-haired modern Nightingale would be devastating, but historical hairstyles could be fun to see, too!

Fandom: Venetia - Georgette Heyer

F!Damerel/Venetia Lanyon
Medium: Fanfiction
Always a 63
General Audiences, Explicit

Because of the fact that the main couple spends more than just the last few pages of the book admitting affection for one another, and because of the way Venetia manages to live the life she wants despite everyone's disapproval, this is one of my favorite Heyers--even though I've never been a huge fan of the reformed rake trope.

Make that rake a woman, though, and I'm all in!

The f/f version of this pairing is just so delicious. It puts such an interesting spin on Damerel's terrible reputation and the way she flaunts it in self-defense, and it could change Venetia's determination to be with her into the choice of a more-or-less open lesbian relationship. Also, you know, hot. I'm absolutely down with either rating option for this fic.

I'd love to see how the genderswap would change the trajectory of canon, and particularly Venetia's realization that she's found a kindred spirit. Did she know she was into women before meeting Damerel? Or future fic, maybe with traveling on the continent. First time fic for them would be amazing.

General likes, etc. in the letter.

F!William Laurence & F!Temeraire, F!William Laurence/F!Tharkay
Medium: Fanart, Medium: Fanfiction

So many fun ways this could come about! Is Laurence attempting to live the life expected of her when she when she more-or-less accidentally harnesses the newly-hatched Temeraire, and only later discovers the Corps accept women? Does she start out by crossdressing to join the Navy (I adore that trope, but I wonder how to reconcile it with Laurence's early sense of duty and propriety), and then things kick in as in canon?

The overwhelming affection and loyalty between Laurence and Temeraire make me so happy throughout the books, and Laurence/Tharkay is such a great opportunity for long-term, eventually-requited pining on Tharkay's part and obliviousness on Laurence's.

I am always up for h/c, with either Laurence or Tharkay hurt. Temeraire's desperate reaction to threats to Laurence in the books always hit my narrative id hard, too.

I adore worldbuilding in general, and particularly through art. I'd be fascinated to see travel to any of the locations in the series, or maybe post-series travel somewhere new. Historical costume porn, with or without the crossdressing, in any of the cultures they spend significant time in. And of course dragons! It would be fun to see the minutia of the gear the Corps uses in their training and fighting, or Temeraire's pavilion, or different versions of how each society adjusts their architecture and day-to-day life to accommodate dragons.

I didn't request Explicit because I'm not interested in PWP, but it's fine to include sexual content.

F!Staryk Lord/Miryem Mandelstam
Medium: Fanart
General Audiences
Always a 63

I enjoyed their dynamic in the book, but it would work even better for me as f/f.

This is a pairing where I'd particularly love any kind of worldbuilding through art. Some ideas:
- Depictions of the glass mountain and the river running under it
- The grove of white trees
- Staryk clothing, whether for the court or for their nightly rides
- The change of the seasons in Lithvas
- The silver jewelry Miryem has made.

As for the characters--a fierce, beautiful, forbidding Staryk Lady would be wonderful to see! I'd love anything from a scene of their weird, combative courtship; to the negotiations that made up their first marriage; to something showing the hard, everyday work that went into that period of rebuilding after Chernobog was defeated and the respect that grew between them while Miryem waited for winter to come; to their second marriage ceremony, their wedding night, or the life they build after.

Would definitely be up for NSFW art in this fandom. I haven't checked the Explicit box mostly because I'd prefer the art not to focus on exposed genitalia, but anything else is great.

General likes, etc. in the letter.

Agnieszka/F!Sarkan
Medium: Fanart
General Audiences
Always a 63

I enjoyed their dynamic in the book, but it would work even better for me as f/f.

This is a pairing where I'd particularly love any kind of worldbuilding through art. Some ideas:
- Magic! That scene where Agnieszka and Sarkan first made their different styles of magic work together was gorgeous to read about. I'd love anything that conveys those two approaches and the balance between them
- Anything about the wood, whether it's welcoming or terrifying or dark and mysterious
- The library in the Dragon's tower, or his workrooms--not just magic, but the tools used to make it
- Miryem's ridiculous, unfortunate, overelaborate clothing
- Village traditions in Dvernik

As for the characters--Sarkan's haughty, buttoned-up, ultrapowerful, and infuriatingly-reserved character type would make a phenomenal female character. I don't really have a mental image of her, so feel free to have fun with that! I'd love any depiction of them that gives a strong sense of place, since the wood is almost a character in and of itself and since Agniezka's love of Dvernik is so central to her. Or if you'd rather focus on the character dynamic, the give-and-tug of their relationship would would be great to see--the early combativeness, the way Agniezka pushes past Sarkan's prickliness without giving up what's important to her, the central element of magic and how they each approach it from a different angle (and how that works) .

Would definitely be up for NSFW art in this fandom. I haven't checked the Explicit box mostly because I'd prefer the art not to focus on exposed genitalia, but anything else is great.

F!Jonathan Sims & Gertrude Robinson, Gertrude Robinson/F!Elias Bouchard
Medium: Fanfiction
General Audiences

GERTRUDE. I love her so much, particularly how Jon's initial assessment of her gradually falls apart as he realizes what a ruthless badass she was and tries desperately to figure out what she was planning. And Jon, that prickly asshole who makes such bad decisions but is trying so hard (and is possibly turning into a monster), would work so well as a female character, too.

I really enjoy Jon as researcher, attempting (however successfully) to piece together a coherent narrative from the disparate clues that are available. I'd love to read her attempts to reconstruct Gertrude's own research and thought processes. I'm also interested in seeing her wrestle with her own role as the Archivist, the powers that come along with it, and her relationship to Beholding. Gertrude and Jon wouldn't have to interact directly for this prompt! In fact, my first thought for it is a one-sided epistolary story through statements and research notes, but go wild if you have other ideas.

For Gertrude/f!Elias, I'd love to see them dancing around each other at the Archives. What was their original opinion of one another, and how did that change over time, with Elias' rise at the institute? What sort of power struggles did they engage in--and how did that turn to what I'm assuming would have to be a combative relationship? How did their goals converge and diverge, and how did their perspectives on Beholding differ?

I'm pretty open to pairings in this fandom, though I'd prefer no Jon/Elias regardless of gender, and I'd be more interested in f!Jon/f!Martin than f!Jon/m!Martin.

I didn't request Explicit because I'm not interested in PWP, but it's fine to include sexual content. (Gertrude/f!Elias hatesex or manipulative sex could be delicious, actually!)

F!Sherlock Holmes & F!John Watson, F!Sherlock Holmes/F!John Watson
Medium: Fanfiction
General Audiences
Always a 63

This is one of those archetypal literary relationships that I desperately wish I could see more of between women. The ACD stories are such a happy place for me, with all the mysteries and the sense of atmosphere, whether that's full-on Gothic or just quintessential Victorian London.

I'd love casefic if that's the sort of thing you're into (doesn't need to have a whole mystery in a story--I'd be equally thrilled seeing the conclusion of a case with hints at the setup) or something character-driven showing the development of the relationship. Hurt/comfort is a classic in ACD fandom for a reason, and I'm particularly interested in hurt or threatened!Watson revealing the depth of Holmes' feelings. (The Three Garridebs was a formative experience, let me tell you.)

I'm equally interested in gen or f/f, but if you write Holmes & Watson I'd prefer no endgame het. Lesbian!Watson would be awesome no matter who she's with--what might her courtship of Mary Morstan look like, I wonder?--and f!Holmes/Irene Adler would be amazing as a background ship.

For the genderswap component in particular, I adore the historical-crossdressing-for-professional-reasons trope and think it could work well for either or both of these characters. (How would the other find out?) It would be equally fascinating to see Holmes clawing her way to professional respect while living as a woman, or for Watson to make what she could of a medical/military career in the historical context.

I didn't request Explicit because I'm not interested in PWP, but it's fine to include sexual content.
